Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

What I personally find the hardest to draw is feet and hands. I found that with a lot of practice and a lot of frustrating mistakes my feet and hands actually look at the very least almost the way i want them to be.
Now my favorite Style of drawing is Anime or sometimes semi-realism, and i find that by doing studies of the more traditional style realism actually helps improve my anime pictures greatly. For instance i would practice drawing my hands and feet in different positions holding different things and from different angles. I also find it extremely helpful while i'm drawing and i'm having a particularly hard time drawing a hand or a foot in a certain position i will stop for a

AWA - The End of an Era

Hey guys! Anime Weekend Atlanta this year was fun. ^_^ It was great to see all my friends and cosplay in the American scene once more. I think that was my last AWA though, since I am moving on to other things next year.

I'm still waiting on a few high-res photos, but here's what I have so far!

Louise (Sukumizu) - Zero no Tsukaima. In which I got more compliments on my ass than my costume, haha.

Mirai - Culture Japan/ Danny Choo Mascot. TBQH, not many people knew who I was supposed to be, but the ones that DID know seemed really enthusiastic to see my cosplay, which makes me happy! I feel really cute wearing this and will definitely do so many more times.

Rinko-chan via CANDY FRUIT. I'm so happy to own maid clothing from CANDY FRUIT, and this costume is so comfortable and easy to wear! Ironically, it was the most expensive thing I wore all weekend.

Did everyone else have a nice time? What's next on your plate for conventions? Personally, I'll be attending Ikkicon in December and Katsucon in February.
