It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me. :la:

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Here's my lineup for Katsucon! I'm almost finished with my new costumes & upgrades, too! ^_^; I have a few photoshoots lined up, but please let me know if you are interested!

Friday AM - Mirai Suenaga - Danny Choo/Culture Japan. I'll be working the Crunchyroll booth in this for a bit! :)

Friday PM - Iori Minase *NEW* - The iDOLM@STER SHINY FESTA (w/ a huge group of kawaii idols!)

Saturday AM - Louise de la Valličre Ballgown - Zero no Tsukaima. I'm hoping this will fit into my suitcase because I'd really like new photos of it.

Saturday PM - Leviathan/Envy *NEW* - Umineko no Naku Koro ni. STAKES GROUP!

Sunday AM - Louise de la Valličre (manga style skirt/revamp). Re-shooting an old costume >w<
